SYDNEY: Former Australia Test opener Chris 'Buck' Rogers was named lead trainer of Victoria on Wednesday, accused of restoring the stalwart state to the head of Sheffield Shield cricket. 


Rogers, who was given a two-year bargain, scored in excess of 25,000 top of the line runs, including 2,000 as best option opener for the Test side after a review late in his vocation, before resigning in 2016.
