It is said that a combine naval exercise has been conducted by the Indian and the American warships on Monday inorder to deliver a strong and a clear message to the Chinese government. Aircraft carriers importance - It is basically a warship which has the ability to carry aircrafts along with it and the ability to help the aircrafts to land and to take off. It works as portable airbase. It gives naval superiority to counter the enemy strikes.

US carriers- A team of aircraft carrier strike team which was lead by the USS Nimitz participated in the drill. In total eight warships attended the drill including other US warships namely USS Princeton, USS sterett and USS ralph Johnson. According to media India was represented by Ins Rana, Ins shivalik, Ins Kamortaindia.Ins sahyadri. Nimitz aircraft carrier- It is basically a class in the aircraft carriers.
WHAT IS SPECIAL IN NIMITZ
It is one of the largest aircraft carriers of the world. There are 10 aircraft carriers built in the Nimitz class. USS Nimitz- The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier is powered by nuclear reactors which make the carrier more deadly and powerful. Mostly a ship is more vulnerable to submarines. If they have to be safe they needed air support. But these carriers have anti-submarine Missiles and a 24*7 air support as it carries aircrafts. Apart from that it has a well balanced 3d & 2d radar to monitor the skies as well as the sea. The Carrier has the capabily to board 50-60 aircrafts too..
The lenght of the carrier is said to be 333 meters and it weighs about 101600 tons. Thus it is one of the most deadly and an elite weapon Location - It is always very important to know the location of the navy drills as they were conducted near the Andaman and nicobar islands. The Chinese trades flow through the strait of malaka. So this naval exercise conveyed a strong and a daring message to the Chinese government. Motto - The motto to conduct a naval exercise is to develop the skills and to make both the navy to work together as one and to understand each other better in a Crisis. Quad core countries- As a reminder the malabar exercise is one of the important naval activities conducted by Indian navy. It is said that the US, Japan and as a new participant Australia could attend the malabar exercise which is going to be conducted soon in India.
